This course gives candidates the First Aid at Work qualification which will enable successful candidates to carry out the duties of a First Aider in the workplace.

Course Content Includes:

Principles of First Aid
The role of the First Aider
Actions in an emergency
Breathing & circulation
Airway obstruction
Resuscitation
Treatment of bleeding
Dressings & bandages
Treatment of shock

Completion of the course:

Candidates will be individually practically assessed, and receive a course handout summarising the topics covered.

Successful candidates will receive a First Aid at Work certificate.
