The classroom courses we run include first aid at work over three days, the two day refresher and emergency first aid at work; fire marshal training; IOSH Managing Safely; abrasive wheels; manual handling; asbestos awareness; ladders and steps; PASMA and IPAF; scaffold inspection; confined space entry and awareness; and the CITB site safety schemes including SSSTS and SMSTS. Fire Risk Assessments

A fire risk assessment is a legal requirement for business premises under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, it has to be carried out by a competent person, and it has to be kept up to date. Our qualified assessors visit the premises and work through your fire safety documentation, the exit routes, emergency lighting and alarms, the sources of ignition and fuel, and anyone at particular risk. What you get back is the significant findings and an action plan, with an annual reassessment to keep it current. Find out more about our fire risk assessments support.

Getting Accredited

If a main contractor has asked for CHAS, SMAS, Safecontractor, Constructionline, CQMS or Altius, we put the submission together and answer the assessor when they come back with questions. Details are on our safety accreditation support page.
