Preventing Sexual Harassment Training

Duration 2 Hours Location Wolverhampton From £400.00 Session Rate (ex. VAT)

Create a Safer, More Respectful Workplace

Sexual harassment can have a significant impact on individuals, workplace culture, productivity and business reputation. Our Preventing Sexual Harassment Training helps organisations understand their legal responsibilities, recognise inappropriate behaviours, and take proactive steps to prevent harassment in the workplace.

Under the Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023, employers have a legal duty to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment of employees.

Our practical, engaging training provides delegates with the knowledge and confidence to identify, challenge and prevent sexual harassment, helping organisations create a positive workplace culture where everyone feels safe, respected and supported.

Course Overview

This course raises awareness of:

  • What sexual harassment is and how it can occur in the workplace
  • Recognising inappropriate behaviours and warning signs
  • The impact of sexual harassment on individuals and organisations
  • Employer and employee responsibilities
  • Preventing sexual harassment through positive workplace culture
  • Reporting concerns and responding appropriately
  • Taking proactive steps to reduce risk and meet legal obligations

The training is designed to support employers in meeting their preventative duty and demonstrates a commitment to creating a workplace free from harassment.

Tailored to Your Organisation

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) advises that training should clearly explain how employees can report incidents and the reporting routes available to them.

To ensure the training is relevant, we can customise the session to include:

  • Your internal reporting procedures
  • A reference to your existing policy
  • Workplace risk assessments
  • Actions your organisation is taking to prevent sexual harassment
  • Organisation-specific reporting routes and support mechanisms

This helps reinforce your existing arrangements and ensures employees understand exactly how concerns can be raised within your organisation.
