What is T-Levels?
T Levels are a new qualification for students in England who’ve finished GCSEs. T Levels are aimed at students between 16–18-year-olds and will suit those who know the industry or area of work they want to pursue for a career. They are the equivalent of three A-Levels and focus on vocational skills that help students enter skilled employment, higher education, or apprenticeships.
T Levels combine classroom learning with a substantial industry placement.
Each T-Level includes in-depth industry placements that last at least 45 days over the two years. Students get valuable workplace experience, and employers get early sight of the new talent in their industry.
Employer Support Fund is available to assist employers with legitimate costs and enable them to offer placements. The fund is for students who start a placement between 1 April 2023 and 31 March 2024.
Here at SafeWise we are firm believers that having relevant work experience is the gateway for a anyone to have a successful career.
Why T-Levels?
T-Level is a key step on the ladder of opportunity, giving students the chance to combine classroom-based learning with valuable hands-on industry placements.
Industry placements give the employer a unique opportunity to help develop new talent in the industry, and get young people work-ready.
T Levels can support employers by offering early access to a talent pipeline for entry-level positions, can help with recruitment, improve innovation and increase an organisation's productivity.
The fund will help colleges and businesses to build strong relationships for the future.
